Wade - Sold

These paintings are acrylic on paper. After completing this body of work I felt like I was looking at waters that you would see surrounding a tropical island paradise.

​I decided to name this after my Dad. I was raised in a household similar to the ‘Brady Bunch’ with 2 sets of girls, a his and a hers. From the perspective of my Dad, living under one roof with 4 teenage girls and a wife at times he felt a little out numbered. Fondly, I remember him saying that he was going to the islands.
