These paintings are acrylic on paper. After completing this body of work I felt like I was looking at waters that you would see surrounding a tropical island paradise.
I decided to name this after my Dad. I was raised in a household similar to the ‘Brady Bunch’ with 2 sets of girls, a his and a hers. From the perspective of my Dad, living under one roof with 4 teenage girls and a wife at times he felt a little out numbered. Fondly, I remember him saying that he was going to the islands.

This commission piece is now on it's way to Florida. It was so large that I painted it un-stretched so it could be shipped rolled. The size of this acrylic painting measures 48"x 80". Once it makes it to the framer it will stretch it down to fit 42"x72". The photo of this piece doesn't even come close to showing the under-layering. Since this image was taken I did touch up the green shapes a bit, though I didn't have the time to re-take and up date the photo. I'm hoping once it is framed my clients will share a photo of this hanging up in their beautiful room.
Blue Blocks is a small watercolor painting that lead me to painting several larger works. This piece sold a few years back, but large prints of the original Blue Block are available.
