Now and Zen
This commission was re-created from a small painting I made back in 2014. The one you see here is 48"x60" and will be on it's way to New York today. Did I say how much I love commission work? Well I do! Palette used blues, wheat yellow, grays, deep green and aqua.

Sisters Wearing Aprons - 36"x36" oil abstract painting by Victoria Kloch
My painting was inspired by the wonderful time spent with 2 of my sisters.. We got together to make Cornish Pasties in honor of our Grandmother Hilda. I admit you would have to have a phenomenal imagination to actually see any sisters in this painting, though you will find apron strings.. Who knew apron strings could be so much fun! This work is all about emotions of love, excitement and pure joy, as I document the time shared with these extraordinary ladies. What a wonderful time we had as we talked about family history and created new memories. It was a celebration of us being together and our love for each other. oxoxoxo |
