The Softer Side of Pink

​Color field painting is a way to express emotions. It is pretty much a given that the use of color choices influence the way the eye interprets that emotion.  If you are a painter you have experienced and no doubt remember how you felt at the time spent with each of your paintings.  I remember so clearly the quiet, gentle air of that day.  No pressure or expectations of the final outcome. Purely in the moment with this.  With a squeegee and white paint I was in the zone of discovery uncovering pink and siennas underneath  with a side to side horizontal movement.

Hand and mind connected to reveal something sweet.
