Rose Bud, 9"x12", white charcoal on black pastel paper
I absolutely love working with this medium. Unlike dragging fingernails down a chalk board, drawing with pastels and charcoal pencils are somehow rewarding. For those who work with them, know what I mean. They can be layered, blended and there is zero drying time. My small black and whites just make me happy. They are created spontaneously starting with a simple shape that grows and develops into a story.

This is my newest oversized oil painting. It measures 55"x65" un stretched. I will be listed on my store as soon as it is dry.
