I love using familiar shapes in unfamiliar ways.


This piece was inspired by the farmlands by Half Moon Bay on the coast in California where artichokes are grown abundantly. Organic shaped piece that flows with delicate, graceful coastal colors. The colors used were blues, greens, grays, deep warm red and a touch of peach.


Paper size measures large 22" x 30" with 1" of natural white deckled edges showing.
